Qatar Entertainment City, Abu Dhabi Investment House's unique mega mixed-use development in Qatar - has signed a development agreement with United Real Estate Company, Kuwait, to develop the first of five districts in Qatar Entertainment City - Qatar's first integrated family destination. The $3 billion development, also commercially known as Tarfeeh City, covers one million square meters of land including one kilometer of prime Gulf beach-front, and is the anchor development for Lusail, the 35 square kilometer northern expansion of the Qatari capital, Doha. The deal between Qatar Entertainment City and United Real Estate Company (UREC) will see the development of the southern section of City, known as South Shore. The site, which covers 75,500 square meters, is valued at QAR955million. Board member and Managing Director of Abu Dhabi Investment House and Chairman of Qatar Entertainment City Rashad Y.
