Published in The Saudi Gazette on 19 - 09 - 2016

PwC, the world's leading professional services network, has appointed Riyadh Al Najjar as the Country Senior Leader in Saudi Arabia. Al Najjar's appointment comes with a host of endorsements within the Saudi Leadership; as a result of his track record of supporting Saudi transformation initiatives that are in line with The Kingdom's 2030 Vision. This, in turn, will also strengthen PwC's presence and commitment to the Kingdom as an influential partner in the success of the Kingdom's National Transformation Program and Vision 2030.
In light of Al Najjar's appointment, Dr. Mufrej Bin Saad Al-Haqabani, Saudi Minister of Labor and Social Development, said: "I am confident in Al Najjar's abilities in providing the needed support throughout and I thank him for this, and I wish him the best of luck for future successes, as we look forward to strengthening our partnership moving forward."
Meanwhile, Majid Bin Abdullah Al-Hogail, Saudi Minister of Housing, also expressed his endorsement of Al Najjar's appointment, saying: "During our most recent collaboration, Riyadh's professionalism, management skills and expertise in delivering and managing projects have earned him the respect of all who have had the pleasure of working with him. I wish him and the rest of PwC's leaders the best of luck and a continued excellency in providing professional services to clients."
Commenting on his appointment, Al Najjar said: "This is an exciting time for Saudi Arabia, as the country embarks on an ambitious journey to achieving its Vision 2030. We, at PwC have been at the heart of this transformation and we remain committed to supporting the Kingdom's ambitions. We have seen great success in the past within Saudi Arabia and I believe we are well positioned to make a real difference in the country's growth story. My vision is simple - it is to lead a team of trusted advisors and position them as an integral part of the Saudi success story."
Al Najjar brings with him over 25 years of management consulting experience in the Healthcare, Financial Services and Public Sector spheres. Over the course of his career, he has maintained deep-rooted relationships with prominent members of government representatives in addition to investors and businesses. His clients have often described him as a colleague and ‘go-to' person for trusted advice and someone who is known to deliver on promises. — SG
