RIYADH — The Saudi security forces have arrested a man from Brunei Darussalam accused of terrorism. He is the first man from this southeast Asian country to be apprehended on charges of terrorism. The security sources did not identify the man but said he was arrested in Riyadh last Saturday without any resistance. They said the accused is currently being investigated to verify his involvement in terror operations that took place in the Kingdom or if he had any connections with or had supported terrorist organizations in the country. The sources noted that a growing number of expatriates had joined Daesh (the so-called IS) during the past two years. They said Daesh was focusing on the recruitment of expatriates especially those who had lived in the Kingdom for long years during which they acquired a fair knowledge of Saudi towns and cities.
