Prices of sheep have risen 30 percent in several cities around the country as a result of the high demand on sacrificial meat with the approach of Eid Al-Adha. Reports indicate that the price of Naeemi sheep increased to SR800 while it was SR700 two days ago. The largest increase registered was from SR1,200 to SR1,650. The minimum price of Najdi sheep has reached SR900, up from SR800 two days ago while the maximum was SR1,800, up from SR1,600. The increase is attributed to the type and quality of product. The prices of Harree and Sawakni sheep have remained unchanged over the past few days, with the price of the former ranging from SR750 to SR1,300 and the latter from SR700 to SR1,150.
