Riyadh — Princess Ameerah Al-Taweel, vice chairwoman of Alwaleed Bin Talal Foundation-Global attended the 6th Board of Trustees of the Silatech Foundation chaired by Sheikha Moza bint Nasser in Tunisia, a press statement of the Foundation said here Monday. During the meeting, the members discussed the achievements of Silatech in 2011 and the important programs and projects that encourage youth employment in the region especially during the current circumstances in the Arab world. Also, on the agenda of discussions were the strategic objectives for the year 2012. Silatech was founded in January 2008 by Sheikha Moza bint Nasser with a broad support from regional and international leading experts in economic development, civic engagement, and humanitarian division. Since their operations in late 2009, Silatech has created approximately 25,000 jobs for young people throughout the Arab world. Princess Ameerah joined the Board of Trustees of Silatech in 2010. Princess Ameerah also attended the signing of a Memorandum Of Understanding (MOU) between Dr. Tarik Yousef, CEO of Silatech and Martial Caratti, CFO of Tunisiana, a Tunisian Telecom Company, to provide job opportunities and vacancies for work using the mobile platform.
