RACISM is a global issue that has been very widespread lately. People discriminate against each other according to race, religion, social background or appearance. This has become common on social media, especially on Twitter, where it seems as though people swear and criticize each other all the time. This kind of discrimination results in creating strife among people. It also leads to a reduction in social communication because the racism that is spread makes people run away or enter into disputes with each other. Sadly, this has spread to politics where politicians insert discrimination and racism in their assertions and speeches. Moreover, some people's attitudes and respect for each other in the workplace and elsewhere have come to be determined by people's social background, race or appearances. It has reached the point where some people when they first meet, ask each other about their ethnicity, race or social background before anything else. You can also be considered to be racist if you defend your friends or relatives in an argument with other people when they are wrong. This is not compatible with Islam or any other religion, and this is assured in the Holy Qur'an and Sunnah. "O mankind, surely We have created you from a male and a female, and made you tribes and families that you may know each other. Surely the noblest of you with Allah is the most dutiful of you. Surely Allah is Knowing, Aware."- Al-Hujraat Verse No:13 "All mankind is from Adam and Eve, an Arab has no superiority over a non-Arab nor does a non-Arab have any superiority over an Arab; also a white has no superiority over a black nor does a black have any superiority over a white except by piety and good action."- Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). If white resembles good and black resembles evil, racism has no color. It is an infectious disease that has to be eradicated.
