CAIRO – Egyptair recently launched a travel campaign, Your Vacation in Egypt, to encourage Egyptians to support local tourism and take their holidays inside the country. Launched on July 14 and running until Sept. 5, the campaign is sponsored by the Egyptian Ministry of Civil Aviation and is hoped to boost local tourism and domestic flights. Deals on offer include flights and accommodation in cities such as Sharm El Sheikh, Hurghada and Luxur. Offers start from 990EGP per person for three star hotels, 1095EGP at four-star hotels, and 1350EGP at five star hotels. Those interested in the deals can make reservations through Egyptair branches around Egypt or through the airline's call center. Egyptair Chairman Safwat Mesallam said local tourism agencies would offer four-day holiday deals at competitive prices that include flights across Egypt.
