Published in The Saudi Gazette on 02 - 06 - 2016

The Gulf Organization for Industrial Consulting (GOIC) signed a Memorandum of Understanding with KAIZEN Management Consulting Co. Ltd, an internationally renowned company in the area of consulting services and training. The MoU reflects both parties' belief that cooperation between the two of them reinforces their expertise in the area of consulting and investments.
The MoU was signed at GOIC's headquarters in Doha, Qatar by Dr. Ali Hamed Al-Mulla, Assistant Secretary General for Industrial Projects Sector on behalf of Abdulaziz Bin Hamad Al-Ageel, GOIC Secretary General and by Dr. Saad Bin Ibrahim Al-Khalaf, Director General of KAIZEN.
Dr. Al-Mulla said the MoU between GOIC and KAIZEN would pave the way for cooperation and consultation in the industrial and economic fields, which is in the best interest of the Gulf industrial sector. This MoU is yet another effort to boost the GCC industrial sector and build Gulf cadres in the area of consultancy, particularly industrial consulting services.
Moreover, Dr. Al-Khalaf opined that the MoU would contribute to the creation of a framework for the mutual activities between KAIZEN and GOIC to strengthen the capacities and skills of consulting, investment and training staff, particularly business entrepreneurs.
The Memorandum of Understanding aims at facilitating cooperation and coordination between the two parties, and creating a business relationship between the two of them. It also aims at laying the foundations of business partnerships and achieving desired benefit by cooperating in areas of mutual interest, in addition to helping entrepreneurs and investors to benefit from business opportunities that are available.
Cooperation between the two parties aims at raising awareness and building a culture of KAIZEN's concepts of quality, improving performance, reducing wastage, building the capacities of consultants and workers in targeted factories and companies, offering consulting services to factories, companies and public sector and localizing knowledge. Furthermore, this cooperation results in conferences, seminars, lectures, fruitful visits, programs, training projects and workshops in the GCC countries. In addition, it helps creating incubators to build the capacities of consultants, implementing institutional development projects and solutions, offering consulting services and studies, bidding for governmental training and consultancy projects, translating books, establishing research centers and implementing joint researches and studies. — SG
