Imran Khan, chairman of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf, left for Jeddah Sunday morning after a short visit to the Kingdom, during which he performed Umrah and prayed at the Prophet's Mosque in Madinah. Speaking to a delegation of party workers led by Sultan Basit, Nazeer Chughtai and Farrukh Rasheed at the airport before his departure, Imran said corruption was destroying the country and his party would play its role in fighting the menace. Imran also expressed satisfaction over the news that two party groups in Jeddah would now work in tandem. The PTI chief said Pakistanis living overseas were an asset for the country and Tehreek-e-Insaf would announce a package for them at an appropriate time. He also said his party was also working to get them their right to vote. — SG
