For the first time ever in the UAE, residents and visitors are able to try their hand at golf on the Full Swing S4 simulator – technology which has been tried and tested by world-famous golfers Tiger Woods and Jordan Spieth. The simulator will be available for visitors of Arabian Travel Market (ATM) at Ras Al Khaimah Tourism Development Authority's stand ME3510, at the Dubai World Trade Centre. The simulator will allow the stand's visitors to enter competitions using the latest technology which accurately measures ball speed, launch angle and direction, as well as In2 technology featuring a high speed camera, measuring ball spin and club head data. Using illuminated high definition graphics, the golf simulator can be altered to offer a day/night game and adjustable weather conditions to offer a real-life experience for those looking to score a hole in one. Golf professionals from both Al Hamra Golf Club and Tower Links Golf Club will be on hand to offer top tips and advice. Up to 93 championship courses are available on the simulator, which has been heralded as the best golf simulator within the tech industry. Ras Al Khaimah Development Authority has introduced the simulator to the stand at ATM – the region's biggest international travel and tourism trade event – in a bid to promote its golf expertise, as it is quickly becoming a leading destination for the sport, its CEO Haitham Mattar said, adding that emirate is also set to host the European the Challenge Tour later this year at its 18-hole course, Al Hamra Golf Club. Throughout ATM, challengers will have the opportunity to win a prize a day as Ras Al Khaimah Tourism Development Authority is crowing those who reach the closest pin as winners. Prizes include a night at Waldorf Astoria Ras Al Khaimah, two ball at Al Hamra Golf Club and two ball at Tower Links Golf Club.
