Saudi Gazette Riyadh – A new destination for Indian food has been added with the inauguration of Bawarchi Restaurant in Batha, Riyadh. The new food joint was inaugurated by Maulana Husamuddin Sani (Jaffer Pasha) Ameer Imarat E Islamia Telangana and Andhra Pradesh and Saud Hakim Al-Asadi. Bawarchi Restaurant aims to serve food lovers of Riyadh with traditional Indian and Chinese delicacies. While Hyderabadi food will be its specialty, Bawarchi hopes to be the best place to taste Biryani where we get good quality coupled with quantity. Good ambience and food will surely compel the visitors to become a regular at this place. Other than that Hyderabadi delicacy like mutton biryani, chicken kebab and qubani ka meetha will be served. Maulana Husamuddin Sani exclusively visited Riyadh to inaugurate the restaurant on the invitation of Wali ur Rahman. On the occasion of inauguration, Maulana prayed for the success of the restaurant. Saud Hakim Al-Asadi appreciated the Indian food and said he always liked Hyderabadi Briyani very much. On the occasion, Syed Rauf Hussain Talwar, Abdul Qadeer, Dr. Mohammed Ashraf, Mohammed Azizuddin, Syed Kareem Khalid and large number of invitees from various walks of life were present. During the past two decades several good Indian restaurants came up in the capital to tickle the taste buds of Saudis and other nationalities. During the short span of time, many Indian restaurants have attracted crowds with aromatic flavors of India. Nowadays, Indian food in the capital has equaled if not surpassed Chinese food in popularity. The traditional Indian food became one of the most popular cuisines especially with Saudis who enjoy the spicy curries, Mutton fry and the fragrant rice based Hyderabad's biryani.
