The National Gas Industrialization Company should fill gas cylinders that are made of fiber glass in all its stations, the Ministry of Commerce and Industry said in a statement Monday. And if consumers want to change the fiber glass cylinder or get compensated for it, the Ministry says, Hazar Company for Industrialization should do the needful. This is as per the agreement signed between the two companies, the Ministry reiterated. Hazar Company is in charge for marketing the fiber glass cylinder and thus responsible for refunding the value and ensuring that products are free from technical defects. The agreement relieves the National Gas Company from these responsibilities, the Ministry said. The Ministry said it has received several complaints from consumers that the company refused to refund the price value of the cylinders, which led the ministry to hold a meeting with officials of both the companies. During the meeting, the National Gas Company confirmed its responsibility of filing the cylinders, while Hazar Company accepted its responsibility to either make the refund or change the cylinder. In the statement, the Ministry underscored the attention it gives to issues concerning consumers.
