Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman received a US Republican Congress delegation here on Thursday. The delegation, headed by Senator Lindsey Graham, included Senators Thom Tillis of North Carolina and David Perdu of Georgia, as well as Congressmen David Jolly of Florida, Adam Kinzinger of Illinois and Tom Rice of South Carolina. During the meeting, they reviewed relations between the Kingdom and the United States and discussed a number of issues of common interest between the two countries. Thursday's meeting comes 10 days after four other American senators held talks with King Salman in Riyadh. The audience was attended by Minister of State and Cabinet Member Dr. Musaed Bin Mohammed Al-Aiban, Minister of Culture and Information Dr. Adel Bin Zaid Toraifi, Minister of Foreign Affairs Adel Bin Ahmed Al-Jubeir, and the United States Ambassador to the Kingdom Dr. Dr. Joseph W. Westphal. President Barack Obama is due in Riyadh on April 21 to attend a summit with King Salman and leaders of Qatar, Kuwait, the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain and Oman. Salman receives message from Moroccan counterpart King Salman also received a message from King Mohammed VI of Morocco. The message was handed over to the King during his reception of Special Adviser to the Moroccan King Fuad A'ali Al-Himma at Al-Yamamah Palace on Thursday.
