THE Elaf Group, a SEDCO Holding Group company, has extended its greetings to Biman Bangladesh Airlines (Biman), the national flag carrier of Bangladesh, and the citizens of Bangladesh as they celebrate the country's 45thIndependence Day on March 26. Elaf Group currently serves as Biman's General Sales Agent (GSA) for the western region of Saudi Arabia and oversees marketing, operations and reservations. The two organizations reaffirmed their commitment to work more closely in the efforts to deliver world-class services and provide full assistance to visiting pilgrims from Bangladesh, following the airlines' successful transport of 51,096 pilgrims in 2015. The partnership dates back to 1998 when Biman appointed Elaf Aviation, a subsidiary of the Elaf Group, as its GSA for Saudi Arabia, which has since helped the national carrier witness an increased market share for flights covering the Bangladesh to Saudi western region route.
