Vice Commander-in-chief of the Yemeni Armed Forces Gen. Ali Mohsen Al-Ahmer told the commanders of a number of brigades and the leaders of the popular resistance in Maareb and Al-Joaf provinces that he was officially informed of the news and was briefed on the progress being achieved by the Yemeni army in the city of Hareeb. Meanwhile, President Abdrabbu Mansour Hadi vowed the support of his legitimate authorities for the efforts of the UN peace envoy to bring about peace according to the international legitimate resolutions, latest of which is the resolution No. 2216. This came during a meeting President Hadi held with Ireland's Ambassador and Georgia's Ambassador to Yemen. He called on the militia coup leaders in Yemen to comply with UN resolutions. President Hadi said the resolutions of international legitimacy are clear foundations of peace and the reference that militia coup leaders should comply with. These remarks were made by the Yemeni president during a regular meeting held on Sunday in Riyadh with his political team and the negotiating team participating in Geneva talks. The meeting was attended by Deputy High Commander of the Yemeni Armed Forces Lt. Gen. Ali Mohsen Al-Ahmar. Meanwhile, Riyadh-based King Salman Center for Relief and Humanitarian Work has distributed as much as 12 tons of dates to the needy in Markha directorate in Shabwa province. The charity was carried out by Al-Khair Coalition for Humanitarian Relief as part of a package to distribute 128 tons of dates in the different directorates of Shabwa province.
