UT Lines, Jamoom Tigers and KAIA record big wins

JEDDAH — KAIA, UT Lines and Jamoom Tigers recorded big wins over their respective opponents in the 3rd week matches of the Jotun League, which is sponsored by Jotun Paints Saudi Arabia and organized by Jeddah Cricket Association (JCA).
KAIA thrashed Al-Burj by 7 wickets: Al-Burj scored 246-7 in 20 overs which was easily chased down by KAIA scoring 247-3 in only 17 overs. Thanks to Shad Mohamed who played a blistering knock of 64 in just 18 balls with 6 fours and 5 six. Fahad played an equally quick 40 off 12 balls (1 four, 5 sixes), Ahsan 28 and Abdul Samad unbeaten 32 (2 fours, 4 sixes). Faizan, Usman and Kamran took a wicket each.
Jamoom Tigers beat Al-Khulais by 6 Wickets. Al-Khulais was bowled out for 161 in 19.4 overs. Adil scored 43 (6 fours) and Hafiz chipped in with 42, including three fours and two sixes.
Abdul Malik bowled a brilliant spell taking 5-25 and received good support from Umar (2-29). In reply, Jamoom Tigers scored 163-4 in 17.3 overs as Usman Butt played a matching-winning knock of 92 in 47 balls with 8 fours and 5 sixes. Khaleel took 2-28, while Adil and Tariq picked up a wicket apiece.
UT Lines sank ECU Lines by 78 runs. In a battle of Lines, UT Lines tallied 215-4. Humayun played a brilliant unbeaten knock of 84 in 39 balls with 9 fours and 4 sixes and Ali blasted 56 in 28 balls with 8 fours and 2 sixes. Javed took 2-35 while Umar and Yasir claimed one wicket each. In reply, ECU Lines was bundled out for 137. Umar Awan made a patient 50 (6 fours and 2 sixes) and Javed 32. Sajid took 3-19 and Aslam 2-11.
