Published in The Saudi Gazette on 28 - 02 - 2016

Alsalam Aircraft Company, a subsidiary of EOP, is keen on participating in national exhibitions, including the seven-day 3rd Armed Forces Exhibition (AFED) that concluded Saturday (Feb. 27) to support localization of spare parts manufacturing held at Riyadh International Convention & Exhibition Center.
AAC participation in this exhibition as a diamond sponsor comes due to its belief in the exhibition message and objectives, which are supporting and localization of spare parts manufacturing in Saudi Arabia, and due to the close ties linking ACC with armed forces, in general, and with the Royal Saudi Air Force, in particular.
The company said one of the most important goals for which the AAC was formed mainly as one of EOP is contributing to the implementation of Armed Forces plans and programs, where the company has implemented important and sensitive projects in favor of Royal Saudi Land and Air Forces, including field areas of technical support for the maintenance and operation of military aircraft in various air bases, in addition to periodic maintenance and development of those airplanes at AAC facilities.
ACC Chief Executive Yahya Bin Hamoud Al-Ghoraibi expressed his joy for AAC involvement in this dynamic exhibition.
"It honors us and the employees of Alsalam Aircraft Company to be the diamond sponsor for the Armed Forces Exhibition", he said, praising the efforts of the armed forces in this exhibition and their trust in AAC that carries integrated and high quality services in order to meet all the needs of civilian and military institutions in the aviation maintenance sector.
Alsalam Aircraft Company shows its progress in manufacturing and engineering capabilities and expertise in the field of aircraft maintenance, whether civilian or military parts, and aircraft spares, and its strategic plan to become one of the largest engineering and aviation industry centers worldwide.
AAC demonstrated that the Armed Forces exhibit will increase investment opportunities, which, undoubtedly, will be reflected positively on the industry sector in the Kingdom, which will lead to economic diversification, and increase local content to stimulate investment and support non-oil exports. Alsalam Aircraft Company is well aware of the true concept of localization of advanced technology in any area of its main activity in the aviation sector.
The company asserted its commitment to highlight its role which supports the goals and mission of the exhibition, through interest in a trained and qualified national staff, training programs and global standards in cooperation with global companies and academic institutions specializing in aircraft science and industry, in order to train new graduates from university and technical colleges on working in the aviation industry.
