Indian Ambassador to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Ahmad Javed arrived today in Riyadh. At the Riyadh airport, he was received by the senior officials from the Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Indian Embassy. Prior to his new assignment as Ambassador, Ahmad Javed served as the Commissioner of Mumbai Police. Consular tour to Najran A team from the Consulate General of India, Jeddah would be visiting NAJRAN Friday (Feb. 19) to provide consular services (limited to attestation and passport services not provided by outsourcing agencies) to Indian nationals. The services will be available at Najran Hotel, Najran (017-5221919/5221418) from 0830-1130 hours and 1700-1900 hours. The Indian nationals residing in the area may avail the opportunity for getting the consular services and meeting the visiting officials to convey their grievances/ suggestions, if any, relating to labor and welfare issues. They should submit written statement narrating their problems for redressal of the same including consular related services. India Forum Carnival 2016 on Friday India Forum, under the patronage of Consulate General of India, is organizing "India Forum Carnival 2016" on the premises of the consulate in Jeddah on Friday. This fun-filled festival, which will start at 5 p.m., will feature cultural programs, games, face painting and various stalls of food, clothes, jewelry and toys. The entry is free but is restricted to families.
