The heritage, cultural and touristic event hosted 18 Arab countries. Zina Atallah, wife of Lebanese Consul General Ziad Atallah, said: "We are all pleased to introduce this event that hosts 18 Arab countries. It is a cultural exhibition that showcases heritage, tourism, national costume, lifestyle and cuisine of each country. This gathering gives everyone the chance to get to know different cultures of diverse countries." Riham El Alfy, wife of Egyptian Consul General Adel El Alfy, said: "It is our pleasure to organize this event that gathers different Arab countries. In Egyptian booth you can taste traditional Egyptian food. Young girls are presenting folk dance. It is the largest Arab countries event this year." The different booths of the Arab countries presented traditional products and famous food known in each country. Egypt's booth presented some ancient monuments, diverse Egyptian products, booklets about tourism in Egypt and the famous Egyptian food such as koshary. Ayesha Mahmoud, coordinator of Mauritanian community in Makkah, said: "The Mauritania booth has culture and heritage corners. It presented the ‘Tent' which is the symbol of education and science in Mauritania. Also many traditional products and tools for old games" The Palestine booth presented handmade products such as leather bags, pottery, tablecloths, cushions and the famous Palestinian olive oil and Zaatar in addition to traditional oil soap and encyclopedia on Palestine and Jaffa city. Tunisia presented colored glass, pure silk cloth, silver antiques, famous embroidered clothes and traditional dessert ‘Al Maqrood' from Kairouan city and ‘Yuyu'. Sudan booth showcased the famous Arabic gum, leather products, Henna and palm fronds products. Bahrain presented the famous Bahraini gold, traditional desserts and products. Oman, Jordan, UAE, Kuwait, Qatar, Somalia, Mauritania, Lebanon, Egypt and other booths all presented the traditional products and food of their countries. Guests enjoyed the folk dances and tasting Arabic coffee from different gulf countries, Omani Halwa, famous desserts and food from different countries.
