The special discount on the international tickets of the Saudi Arabian Airlines (Saudia) has been extended by extra two days and will close on midnight today (Monday). The special offer, which began on Feb. 3, should have ended on Feb.13, has been extended until midnight Feb. 15, deputy executive president for the commercial sector Khaled bin Hammad Al-Balawi said. "The offers were meant to achieve the ideal investment on the seats during the second quarter of this year which begins on April 1 and concludes on June 30," he said. He added the special offers will also enable the airline to asses the favorable destinations so as to plan its marketing strategy and schedule its flight operations. Balawi said the offers will enable Saudia passengers to spend the spring vacation in any of Saudia's international stations and will also enable the parents of the scholarship students to visit them anywhere in the world. Saudia has greatly reduced its ticket fares on the tourist and business classes to the GCC countries, the Middle East, Indian Sub-Continent, Far East, Africa, Europe and America. Under the offer, the interested passengers could have bought their tickets during the 12 days of the offer and made their reservations to travel out during the period April-June. Meanwhile, Saudia's pavilion in the National Festival for Heritage and Culture (Janadriyah) is still attracting a large number of visitors to buy tickets, make bookings and enjoy the on-flight cuisine which is being serviced to them. The visitors will also enjoy the discount of 20 percent on all ticket sales. — SG
