Construction professionals who want to develop their careers in a challenging climate will be heading to The Big 5 Saudi this March, to take advantage of the extensive program of educational workshops and seminars. This year's exhibition, to be hosted at the Jeddah Centre for Forums & Events on March 7-10, will feature more learning opportunities than ever before. The Big 5 Saudi is the largest construction exhibition in Jeddah and will give thousands of visitors access to diverse certified workshops and seminars, all free of charge. Workshops take place on all four days of the exhibition, with a program suited to a full range of construction professionals. Most will take just one to two hours to refresh your knowledge and inspire your thinking. Topics include contract management, quality control, workplace safety and issues of sustainability. Each session will be presented by an expert in their field and provide attendees with viewpoints on the latest trends and ideas from across the industry. Each program is CPD certified and can make a contribution toward professional accreditation with a number of industry associations. Access to the seminars and workshops is free, but spaces are limited so it is essential for visitors to pre-register now to avoid disappointment. On the second day of the show the Vision in Construction seminar series will host panel discussions offering expert insight and analysis on the state of the market, business opportunities in the country, risk management and project finance, along with other pivotal industry issues. Other features integral to The Big 5 Saudi include a dedicated Concrete Zone and an outdoor PMV Zone where visitors can learn about the latest in concrete technologies, get hands on with plant and machinery and see live demonstrations that will include earthmoving equipment, lifting equipment and material handling machines.
