Saudi Embassy in Burkina Faso said in a statement that two Saudi businessmen were among the released hostages in the attack on a hotel in Burkina Faso's capital, Ouagadougou, the Saudi Press Agency said. The embassy also said that the two Saudi businessmen are safe, adding that procedures are being taken to ensure their safe return to the Kingdom as soon as possible. The overnight seizure of the luxury hotel in Burkina Faso's capital by Al-Qaeda-linked extremists ended Saturday when Burkina Faso and French security forces killed four attackers and freed more than 126 people, the West African nation's president said. At least 23 other people from up to 18 different countries were killed in the attack at the Splendid Hotel and nearby Cappuccino Cafe.
