RIYADH – Deputy Crown Prince Muhammad Bin Salman, second deputy premier and minister of defense, received on Monday a telephone call from US Secretary of State John Kerry in which they discussed the latest developments in the Middle East region. They also reviewed ways to further enhance bilateral cooperation, the Saudi Press Agency reported. Deputy Crown Prince Muhammad also held telephone talks with the German Defense Minister Ursula von der Leyen. They discussed bilateral relations and the joint efforts in combating terrorism. The German minister applauded the creation of the Islamic Military Alliance to fight terror and the alliance's partnership with the international community in confronting the scourge of terrorism.
