Daman Islamic Insurance Company (Beema) introduced a new service "Peace of Mind" starting last Jan. 1 which changes the service landscape of Qatar's rapidly growing insurance industry. With this service, Beema's customers who have Comprehensive Motor Insurance policy can lodge a claim in case of a car accident, without even stepping foot outside their home or office. The customer, after getting the traffic accident report, just needs to call Beema and its representative will verify the eligibility of the repair, whether to be repaired in the dealer or workshop, and accordingly arrange an appointment with the respective dealer or workshop. Once the dealer or workshop confirms the date, Beema's representative arranges to collect the vehicle from customer's place prior to the scheduled date. Once the repair is completed, the customer is notified and all that he or she needs to do is to go and collect the vehicle from the dealer or the workshop. Beema's CEO Nasser Al-Misnad said "we are taking convenience and peace of mind to a whole new level, by providing complimentary door to door service for comprehensive motor insurance policy delivery, and now motor insurance claims services.
