Police arrested a Pakistani couple on suspicion of having tortured their four-year-old handicapped daughter to death. The father had taken the lifeless girl, Samar Muhammad Saleem, to Ajyad Hospital in Makkah. He claimed that the bruises on her body were from a fall the girl had. After examining the body doctors, found reason to suspect that the marks were caused by severe beating. They called the police. A team from the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) and forensic science department was sent to the girl's residence in Al-Misfalah to investigate the incident further. – Okaz __
