PR Arabia's 4th annual Survey on Auto Awards gets going in Kingdom
Published in The Saudi Gazette on 26 - 12 - 2015

a full service public relations and marketing firm, with specialized focus on customized strategic campaigns in automotive and other related businesses — announced recently the launch of the 4th annual Survey on Auto Awards under the patronage of the Saudi Chambers of Commerce & Industry's National Automotive Committee.
Sponsored by Shell Helix motor oils, this year's Survey will be more exciting and extensive based on the success and achievement reached in the preceding events.
Walid Karanouh, Managing Director of PR Arabia, disclosed that a new feature will include award for "Best After-Sales Service" in this year's survey due to popular market demand. Hence the award categories will cover "Best Program for Sports Car", "Best media Reporter on Auto Journalism", "Best Car Dealer", Best Traffic Safety Program", "Best Car" (normal and luxury) in three classifications: sedan (family), sports, and 4-WD.
"After three years of successive campaign and high demand in the car market, we expect more than 500,000 people to cast their votes and pick their choice in respective categories through our website www.prarabia.me," Karanouh remarked.
"The survey that we initiated proved helpful in giving objective advise and insightful information about cars," he added.
Commenting on sponsoring the Survey, Firas Wehbe, Marketing Manager industry and FWS at Shell Oil Saudi Arabia (Josloc), said: "We are proud to be the partner of PR Arabia in this year's annual Survey on Auto Awards because of the dynamism and strong sense of commitment involved in the process to bring about customers' participation in automobile industry and its ancillary services, thereby boosting the automotive market."
He added: "It is self evident that the survey will satisfy the customers and satisfied customers usually return and buy from the dealer they trust."
Latest date from the Saudi Chambers of Commerce & Industry's National Automotive Committee showed that some 600,000 units of new cars were sold in the Kingdom in the third quarter of this year, and is expected to grow 6% to 9% year-on-year, making the Saudi car market the most robust and promising in the Middle East and North African Region.
The final results of the Survey will be revealed by end of April 2016 at a prestigious presentation. — SG
