Lebanese singer Elissa has been presented with the title “The woman that is loved by men” by the Esquire Men's Magazine based in Dubai. The new award was presented during a celebration event held by the magazine in Dubai. Elissa expressed her joy at recieiving such a title and personally thanked the magazine through a post on her social network official page Twitter. She stated that she is the first Arab female artist to be given such an award. During her visit to Dubai, Elissa tok advantage of her stay and did a little holiday shopping before heading back to Beirut. According to the internet website MBC.net, Elissa gave her condolences to Lebanese signer Amal Hijazi over the loss of her mother and expressed her sorrow hoping that she (Amal) overcomes her grief and is in good health. Elissa had previously decided to postpone the release of her new album until conditions in the Arab world became more stable.
