Saudi Gazette JEDDAH – To further strengthen trade ties with Saudi Arabia, Turkey opened the headquarters of its Commercial Attaché in Jeddah Saturday. Zafer Ca?layan, Turkey's Minister of Commerce, inaugurated the facility in a building in Jamil Square on Tahliyah Street. A number of Turkish and Saudi officials and businessmen attended the event. Ca?layan said his country wants to develop trade with the Kingdom. Usama Haddad, CEO of Hadia Abdullatif Jamil, the developer of Jamil Square, said the decision to establish the Turkish office was to increase trade. He said his company has invested in Turkey and owns 65 percent of Toyota Turkey. Ala'a Hatahet, director of Jamil Square's marketing and leasing department, said his company was happy to have the Turkish office and hoped to provide more clients with buildings to meet their needs. __
