Published in The Saudi Gazette on 08 - 12 - 2015

The Philadelphia Eagles roared back into contention in the shaky NFC East, rallying from a 14-0 deficit, scoring 35 consecutive points and then holding on for a wild 35-28 victory over the New England Patriots Sunday.
Quarterback Tom Brady, with the help of an onside kick, led the Patriots to two late touchdowns, the second with three minutes left.
The Eagles (5-7), who had lost three straight, moved into a tie for second place in the NFC East, a half-game behind the Washington Redskins.
The Patriots (10-2) dropped their second game in a row and fell into a tie with the Broncos for the best record in the AFC.
Panthers 41, Saints 38: Cam Newton threw a 15-yard touchdown pass to receiver Jerricho Cotchery with 1:05 left — his fifth touchdown pass of the game — to lift the unbeaten Carolina Panthers to a 41-38 comeback victory over the New Orleans Saints.
Newton, who completed 28-of-41 passes for 331 yards, drove the Panthers 75 yards in 11 plays for the game-winning score.
Before the game, the 12-0 Panthers became the first team to clinch a playoff berth, when NFC South rival Atlanta lost.
Steelers 45, Colts 10: Ben Roethlisberger threw for 364 yards and four touchdowns, leading the Pittsburgh Steelers to a 45-10 victory over the Indianapolis Colts.
The Steelers (7-5) moved a game ahead of the Colts (6-6) while keeping pace with the New York Jets and Kansas City Chiefs in the AFC wild card race.
Seahawks 38, Vikings 7: The Seattle Seahawks scored five touchdowns in six drives and dominated the Minnesota Vikings 38-7.
Russell Wilson accounted for four touchdowns on the day and threw for 274 yards for the Seahawks, who won their third consecutive game and moved to within a game of the Vikings in the NFC wild card standings.
Minnesota was embarrassed on its home field for the second time in three weeks.
Bengals 37, Browns 3: The Cincinnati Bengals overwhelmed the Cleveland Browns 37-3 behind three touchdowns by quarterback Andy Dalton.
The Bengals (10-2) were dominant from beginning to end and strengthened their hold on the AFC North lead. Dalton had a 3-yard run for a score and threw a pair of TD passes.
The Browns (2-10) are heading in the opposite direction, with seven straight losses.
