Al Faisaliah Spa launches new Arabic Rose treatments
Published in The Saudi Gazette on 06 - 12 - 2015

Al Faisaliah Spa by ESPA has launched two revolutionary new signature treatments for discerning guests. The new treatments follows Al Faisaliah Spa by ESPA's recent win at the inaugural World Spa Awards where the ladies only spa was awarded the ‘World's Best Female Spa' , ‘World's Best Spa Design' and ‘Saudi Arabia's Best Hotel Spa' at the ceremony which served as the definitive benchmark of excellence.
The first bespoke treatment is a new Royal Arabic Rose Facial which is designed to ensure guests indulge in a more exceptional and personalized experience to meet each individual's desires. The treatment commences with a relaxing foot ritual infused with aromatic rose petals whilst the therapist performs a bespoke consultation to determine the guest individual needs. A deep brush cleanse gently exfoliates as it prepares the skin for a warm herbal poultice massage using a combination of Green Tea, Hibiscus, Rose, Marigold Flower along with specialised techniques to both lift and firm the skin. After a tailored mask and therapeutic scalp massage, this effective treatment finishes with the application of specially chosen ESPA serums and moisturisers to leave the skin smooth, toned and restored.
The second newly introduced treatment is the Arabic Rose Poultice Experience that consists of 120 minute of relaxation. This all-encompassing treatment begins with a cleansing foot ritual infused with rose petals and a chilled rose tea to refresh and revive. Skin is first smoothed and prepared with a luxurious exfoliation containing Ylang Ylang and Rosehip Seeds to reveal radiant skin. Therapeutic herbal poultices infused with blend of individual chosen herbs are then used to massage the body to suits the guest's specific needs. A nourishing scalp treatment using warmed Pink Hair and Scalp Mud concludes this indulgent and relaxing experience.
The unique treatment will include three different kinds of poultice herbs which will be unique to ESPA and not available anywhere else in the world.
Jennifer Agapie, spa director at Al Faisaliah Spa by ESPA, said: "The new treatments further add to the unique guest experience at the Al Faisaliah Spa by ESPA. We have taken the time and expertise to provide tailored offerings that are specific to each of our guest's needs with the continued aim to redefine luxury and deliver a world class, multiple award-winning spa service."
Spanning across four floors, the spa features six treatment rooms, two private spa suites, relaxation rooms, whirlpool, nail studio, hair salon and a fitness zone with the latest Technogym equipment. In addition, the spa includes a 14-m long swimming pool, a traditional Hammam, and an inviting tea lounge for guests to continue their ultimate spa experience. The spa's signature treatments by ESPA teamed with the unique design elements reflect the local culture and heritage of Arabian hospitality, providing the perfect ground for relaxation and indulgence.
