Actor and director Mel Gibson has been officially divorced from his estranged wife Robyn Moore after a 31-year marriage, court records showed. A judge made the divorce official on Friday without revealing publicly the terms of the settlement with the troubled Oscar winner, who is believed to be worth some $900 million. The couple separated in 2006, shortly after Gibson was arrested for drunk driving and made an anti-Semitic tirade at police on the scene that triggered a major scandal around the world. Gibson, who won academy awards for best director and best picture for “Braveheart,” had six sons and one daughter with Moore since they married in 1980. He also has a two-year-old daughter, Lucia, from his relationship with Russian pianist Oksana Grigorieva. In August, the 55-year-old “Braveheart” star struck a deal with Grigorieva for joint custody of the girl. Gibson avoided jail time in March when he decided not to appeal domestic violence charges made by Grigorieva last year. He was sentenced to three years of probation and ordered to attend a domestic violence counseling program.
