King Abdullah Economic City (KAEC), in collaboration with the New Cities Foundation, is organizing the third Cityquest-KAEC Forum under the aegis of Emir of Makkah region Prince Khaled Al-Faisal, advisor to Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques. Titled "Building Value in New Cities", the forum will be held on Dec. 8-9 at Bay La Sun Hotel & Marina in KAEC. Discussions this year focuses on the added value gained through urban development, an essential dimension for the success of new cities. The forum will also highlight other elements in the creation of new cities, such as ensuring, a diversified and positive environment for investment, creating new job opportunities for young Saudis, and offering an aspirational lifestyle for residents. More than 20 chief executives of new cities globally are participating in Cityquest-KAEC 2015 along with decision makers and experts in the sustainable development of economic cities. They are gathering at KAEC for an opportunity to exchange views and discuss the latest developments in their field, and to demonstrate the positive impact these cities have on surrounding communities.
