For 2016, the Cadillac ATS lineup offers an all-new, more powerful and more refined V-6 engine matched with an all-new, paddle-shift eight-speed automatic transmission – a daring combination that sets a new standard for performance excellence, sophistication, and luxury. The all-new 3.6L V-6 engine represents a fourth-generation, clean-sheet engine redesign and incorporates new features, including Active Fuel Management (cylinder deactivation) and Stop/Start technology, to enhance fuel economy up to a company-estimated 9 percent when compared to the previous engine.
