Bihar govt formation celebrated in Riyadh

Riyadh — The Saudi Chapter of Bihar Foundation celebrated the victory of grand alliance in Bihar assembly elections and government formation at the Saffron Restaurant in Riyadh.
Chief guest Principal of Delhi Public School Meraj Mohammed Khan congratulated the people of Bihar for giving a mandate to the grand alliance and appreciated the intelligent voters for their wise decision to elect the secular government. He also appreciated Nitish Kumar for changing the perception of Bihar among non-Biharis and said he took the charge of chief minister for the third consecutive term as a reward of his honest and hard-working politics.
Guest of honor, principal International Indian School Riyadh Dr. S. M. Shaukat Perwez congratulated Nitish Kumar and the Bihar foundation.
Dr. Dilnawaz Rumi congratulated the newly formed government and said the voters of Bihar proved that they are the real secular people and know what the nation needs. They set a good example for the whole India that Indians are secular and peace loving people and believe in unity and this is our real strength.
Dr. Dilshad Ahmed, managing committee member IISR, congratulated Bihar Foundation for arranging the wonderful program and appreciated Obaid Ur Rahman.
Dr. Dilnawaz Rumi, IISR Principal Dr. S.M.Shaukat Perwez, Mansab Ali Shaikh were the Guests of Honor of the celebrations.
In his opening remark Chairman Bihar Foundation Obaid ur Rahman said Bihar Foundation is the only registered authorized Bihari organization which can forward the suggestions and requests to the government of Bihar.
He congratulated the grand alliance leaders for landslide victory and further said it was not only victory for Bihari people but whole nation is happy and enjoying this victory and appreciate the intelligent Bihari Voters.
He said the intention of new government is very clear as the new Cabinet of Nitish Kumar has a balanced representation of young, dynamic and clean imaged ministers. The Cabinet is clean from criminals.
He said that Bihar is progressing under the leadership of Nitish and once again it has been proved that the revolution starts from Bihar.
During the election campaign, Bihar Foundation Chairman Obaidur Rahman visited the state and campaigned for the grand alliance. He suggested the Bihar Foundation would send the request to Bihar government to start direct flight between Riyadh and Patna. He also said NRI's has played vital role during the election for the mobilization of voters. Mansab Ali Shaikh said people give their mandate and feel confidence in Grand Alliance. Now it is the time for the government to work with honesty and support those who supported them to form the government particularly the Muslim community. It is the moral duty of the government to justify the support and do the meaningful work for the upliftment of the community.
The program started with recitation of Holy Qur'an by Salim Zubaidi, Niyaz Ahmed, vice chairman conducted the proceeding. Anis Alam, Sohail Ahmed, president AMOUBA also spoke. A large number of Indian Community members attended and congratulate Obaid ur Rahman.
Last Friday Nitish Kumar was sworn in as the chief minister of Bihar for the fifth time at a grand event at Gandhi Maidan, Patna, India and most of the leaders from all the parties attended.
Two sons of Rashtriya Janata Dal supremo Lalu Prasad Yadav, Tejaswi and Tej Pratap and 26 others were sworn in.
In Allocation of portfolios, Tejaswi Yadav, the younger son of Lalu Prasad, became deputy chief minister. The elder son, Tej Pratap, was given charge of three important ministries apart from Nitish Kumar, 12 members each from the Janata Dal (United) and the Rashtriya Janata Dal and four from the Congress were administered the oath of office.
