All set for RCA Amex T20 semis

RIYADH — Quarterfinals were played in the RCL American Express T20 Tournament here recently.
Huraymala League
Fonte Star, Sinmar, Riyadh Fighters and Pak Force qualified for the semifinals in Huraymala League.
Sinmar defeated KFSH Green by 7 runs. Sinmar piled up 186 for 7. Ishtiaq (57), Nawaz (34) and Jamal (39) were the key contributors. Suhail pocketed 4 wickets. KFSH Green managed only 179. Rafaqat (36), Adnan (32) and Ubaid (26) batted well. Rasheek grabbed 4 wickets, while Irshad and Nawaz grabbed 2 each.
Pak Force registered a 63-run victory over Cricket Samarwa. Pak Force posted 196. Mohsin top scored with 86. Zohaib added 33 and Khurram 24. Zaffar bagged 4 wickets and Husnain 2. Cricket Samarwa folded for 133. Zahid (37) and Waqar (30) showed some fight. Mudassir picked up 3 wickets, while Asif and Nesar claimed 2 each.
Fonte Star edged Sulaiman XI by 16 runs. Fonte Star compiled 229 for 6. Bilal Wani announced his return to cricket with an excellent knock of 103. Waseem scored 44 and Safdar 36. Ayaz, Mudassar and Afzal grabbed 2 wickets each. Sulaiman XI fought hard but managed only 213. Habib top scored with 95 and Akhtar 28. Ghulam's disciplined bowling earned him a 5-wicket haul. Bilal took 2 wickets.
Riyadh Fighters thumped Fuchs by 6 wickets. Fuchs posted 169. Bilal took 3 wickets, while Iftikhar and Majid took 2 each. Riyadh Fighters were home in 16.5 overs for the loss of 4 wickets. Nusrat (54), Omer (42) and Hameed (35) ensured an easy win.
Diriyah League
Seham, Black Caps, Riyadh Fighters PPF and Abana made it to the semifinals in Diriyah league.
Seham thrashed AKCC Blue by 6 wickets. AKCC Blue was bowled out for 143. Nasir and Tahir proved lethal, picking up four and three wickets, respectively. Seham chased down the target in just 13.3 overs. Nasir showed his skills with the bat too making 49. Waseem (28) and Fayaz (22) took the team home.
Phoenix was outplayed by Black Caps in a thriller. Black Caps scored 201 for 4. Nazar (55), Kashif (48) and Ashfaq (30) were the key contributors. Shamroz picked up 2 wickets. Phoenix was restricted to 193 in its 20 overs. Noman hit a brilliant 75. Antar scored 38 and Asif 23.
Abana downed Rising Stars by 4 wickets. Rising Stars collected 120 in their allotted overs. Abu Baker scalped 4 wickets. Adnan, Kamran and Nadeem claimed 2 wickets each. Abana scored the required runs in 15.1 overs. Adnan (42) and Abu Baker (36) helped their team secure an easy win.
Naz lost to Riyadh Fighters PPF by 26 runs. Riyadh Fighters posted 214 for 5. Nasser (89) and Aamir (56) scored fifties as Imran hit 25. Saqib and Siddique grabbed 2 wickets each. In reply, Naz was restricted to 188-8. Afzal top scored with 58 and Atif helped with 38. Nessar took 4 wickets. Waqas and Salman bagged 2 wickets each.
