More travelers from the Middle East are expected to visit Australia in the next eight years with an expected 183 percent growth from 2006-2016, a report from Tourism Research Australia said. The Middle East comes after India and China, as places of origin, in the list of the highest growth rate in visitor arrivals to Australia from 2006 to 2016. A 373 percent and 241 percent growth is estimated for India and China, respectively. “With more travelers from the Middle East making their way to Australia, Hyatt believes there is measurable demand for luxury accommodation within a comfortable living environment,” said Thierry Bertin, VP Sales & Marketing, Hyatt International - South West Asia. “Our Hyatt properties in Australia provide an ideal setting for all types of Middle East travelers, whether they are opting for a shopping holiday or traveling in large groups looking to be within close reach to major cities,” Bertin added. Hyatt currently has eight properties across Australia, which includes Hyatt Regency Adelaide, Park Hyatt Sydney, Hyatt Regency Perth, and Park Hyatt Melbourne. With shopping and location being one of the main factors Arab travelers look for when choosing a hotel, the award-winning Park Hyatt Sydney is uniquely positioned right on the water's edge of Sydney Harbor. The hotel enjoys spectacular views of the famous Harbor Bridge and the Sydney Opera House and is situated in the historic Rocks district, just five minutes from the central business, cultural and shopping districts of Sydney. The Hyatt Regency Perth, situated near the banks of the Swan River, on the eastern edge of Perth's central business district and shopping precinct, and in close proximity to Perth's arts, parks, entertainment and convention centers, offers Arab guests the very important baby (VIB) program to make their stay with the entire family an enjoyable experience. VIB provides families with an assortment of amenities including baby shampoo, conditioner and baby lotion, baby bath and stand, bottle warmers, diapers for boys and girls, high chairs, and strollers. Middle East travelers visiting Melbourne can embrace the warm ambience and exceptional levels of personalized service at the Park Hyatt Melbourne. __
