[gallery td_select_gallery_slide="slide" ids="9596,9595,9594"] DAMMAM — The World Malayalee Council (WMC) Dammam Province celebrated their ‘Family Get-together' recently here. Families cooperated and participated with fervor to make the family day a grand success. The event was colorful with variety of dance performances by many talented artists who contributed their skills in various art forms (classical, semi-classical and film dances). The event also saw some singing performances, the performance of Kerala-style marriage ceremonial dance called ‘Opana', and a rendition of musical variations on keyboard by various talented artists. Edathody K. Bhaskaran, president, performed the oath-taking ceremony for the new members and their families as per WMC's by-laws and Moosa Koya, global vice-president (education), explained the mission and goals of WMC. Dickson Fernandes, chairman of WMC Dammam Province, chaired the meeting. The program was anchored by Riyaz Badaruddin.
