The Industrial Opportunities Forum will be held in Riyadh today (Tuesday) at the Four Seasons Hotel under the auspices of the Minister of Commerce and Industry and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Saudi Industrial Property Authority (MODON) Dr. Tawfig Bin Fawzan Alrabiah. The theme of the forum is “Towards a competitive industry and a knowledge-based economy”. The day-long forum activities will include reviewing of 20 industrial opportunities presented to the businessmen in the presence of the Director General of Industrial Development Fund and the Director of Human Resources Fund, both of whom will present their presentations on the role of the two funds in the provision of financial and human resources. Also, a number of consultancy firms and a group of large industrial companies operating in the provision of raw materials used in the manufacturing industries such as, the National Industrialization Company and Petro Rabigh will participate. A large number of investors, businessmen, industrialists and those interested in the industrial domain will participate in the Forum's activities. Majdi Bin Abdulaziz Al-Sahhaf, Director, Marketing & Corporate Communications, MODON, said the forum is assigned for businessmen, consulting offices and financing agencies. Twenty industrial opportunities presented by local and international specialized agencies will be reviewed.
