ETIHAD Etisalat (Mobily) has been honored by Prince Faisal Bin Bandar Bin Abdul-Aziz, the Governor of Riyadh region, for being ranked among the top 100 brands in the Kingdom as one of the most advanced & popular brands, second year in a row. The honor was bestowed during a ceremony held recently in Riyadh for Asir Establishment for Press and Publishing represented by Al Watan newspaper. Abdullah Al Kharboosh the Public Relation Manager received the trophy on behalf of Mobily, at the event. The ceremony was attended by dignitaries from all Saudi business sectors and honored 17 sectors including various industries in KSA such as economic, commercial, industrial and social. The winning brands were selected based upon an extensive and scientific study conducted by the newspaper in collaboration with "Ipsos", the leader in market studies & research, based on specialized scientific methods including advanced field surveys. Mobily has emerged as a powerful brand that broke the monopoly that existed in the telecommunications market in the Kingdom. Mobily was able to work on developing healthy & fair competition in the telecoms sector over the past ten years in Saudi Arabia, making the sector as one of the most leading telecommunications sectors in the region through introduction of the latest technologies.
