Published in The Saudi Gazette on 12 - 12 - 2011

Carl Hagelin scored twice to lead the Rangers to a 4-1 victory over the host Buffalo Sabres Saturday, giving the franchise its 2,500th regular-season win.
Hagelin, playing his eighth NHL game, and Ryan Callahan scored short-handed goals, and Martin Biron made 32 saves to help the Rangers become the fifth NHL team to reach the milestone.
“There were some stumbles,” Rangers coach John Tortorella said of Hagelin.
Marian Gaborik added a power-play goal for the Rangers. Biron, who played 300 games for Buffalo earlier in his career, improved to 9-3-1 against the Sabres.
Thomas Vanek scored for Buffalo.
