King Abdulaziz City for Science and Technology (KACST) has allocated approximately 1.5 million riyals to support 34 research proposals submitted by researchers from various universities and colleges in the Kingdom. The allocation has been provided through the scholarship program for graduate students. The supervisor of research grants at KACST, Dr. Omar Bin Abdul Aziz Al-Misnad, said that the funds will support research proposals in several areas, including chemistry, physics, biology, mathematics, geology, agriculture and engineering. KACST has already supported 253 research proposals within the grant program for graduate students this year, bringing the total number to 287, a statement said.
