King approves water body's privatization

Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah Bin Abdul Aziz has approved the privatization of the Saline Water Conversion Corporation (SWCC), it was announced Tuesday.
A Royal approval has also been issued for the privatization of stations treating sewerage water, said Minister of Water and Electricity Abdullah Al-Hussain.
He said that this development comes within the framework of the King's keenness on developing SWCC's plans and programs and constitutes a major turning point in attracting investment in water and electricity projects.
