True to their name Young Athletes pulled off a 3-wicket win over champion Munch Bakery and Pakistan International School Old Boys registered a 24-run win against the Saudi Bitucorp cricketers in the Division-I Afternoon League which is sponsored by the ACE Travels & Tours and organized by the Jeddah Cricket Association (JCA). Batting first, Pakistan International School Old Boys-XI scored 176-4 in 18 overs against the Saudi Bitucorp cricketers. Munir Khan remained unbeaten on 41, Afsar Khan made 33, Shabbir 30, Sher Bahadur 25 not out and Sher Shah 26. Atif took 2 wickets while Yasser got one. In reply, Saudi Bitucorp could reach 152-5 in 18 overs and lost the match by 24 runs. Owais 38, Atif 31, Asif 19, Sarfaraz 24 and Tahseen 15 were their main scorers. Shabbir, Shoeb and Sher Shah claimed one wicket each. Last season's champion Munch Bakery, batting first, scored 173-4 in 18 overs against Young Athletes.
