Sidney Crosby recaptured his scoring touch with three assists to help the Pittsburgh Penguins to a 6-3 win over the Ottawa Senators Friday. Having fallen behind to a Kaspars Daugavins backhander after 79 seconds, Crosby led the Penguins recovery by starting a four-goal run with a beautiful pass to set up Chris Kunitz to level the scores. Crosby drew the attention of the defending Senators by faking a shot and then slid the puck to Kunitz, who was wide open in the slot for an easy shot into the open net. Tyler Kennedy, Steve Sullivan and Evgeni Malkin grabbed further Pittsburgh goals in the first period for a 4-1 lead before Ottawa starting goalie Craig Anderson was pulled after making just four saves on eight shots. Kennedy added two assists to match Crosby's three-point night with Malkin getting two points for the third consecutive game. Pascal Dupuis and Jordan Staal rounded off the scoring for the Penguins. Jared Cowan and Erik Condra scored the Senators' final two goals, and Alex Auld played well in relief of Anderson making 29 saves. Rangers 6, Captitals 3: After a scoreless first period Friday, the Rangers turned up their play in the second, scoring four times before finishing with a season high for goals in a clear win over the Capitals in Washington.
