The US patent center has granted a patent to King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals (KFUPM) for developing a security theory in the area of digital information. The theory was developed and conducted by computer engineering professor Dr. Mohammed Ibrahim. KFUPM is conducting several other research projects and has so far received more than 29 patents in various fields, KFUPM officials said.
