The Mashair Train will operate all year by transporting tourists to the holy sites. It will also be used for Umrah pilgrims and during Ramadan, said Dr. Habib Zain Al-Abideen, Undersecretary at the Ministry of Municipal and Rural Affairs and Supervisor General of the ministry's Central Projects Administration. He said tourists will be able to see the massive projects being carried out at the holy sites. He said there will be coordination with the security agencies and officials responsible for the Umrah program to make use of the train in Ramadan and the Umrah seasons. For this purpose, cars coming from Taif will have to park near Arafat Station 3 while the cars coming from Jeddah will be directed to the parking lots at Raqm Al-Wabr near Muzdalifa Station 2 to enable tourists and Umrah pilgrims to move to the Jamarat Bridge with the train. Following this, they will be transported by shuttle buses to the Grand Mosque in coordination with the Saudi Public Transport Company (SAPTCO). He said studies are being conducted to link the Mashair Train to the Grand Mosque. __
