At the age of three, Sultan and his father had a traumatic car accident. Sultan's right arm was torn off during the accident and the arm was not found until a day later when it was too late to reattach it. Sultan learned to rely on his left arm and he never let his physical disability hamper his desire to learn or stand between him and the sea. Sultan learned how to write well, attended school, learned how to swim, and recently became famous in the city of Tabuk as the young certified diver with only one arm. “Sultan excelled in swimming courses at an advanced level. When he expressed his desire to dive and I made sure that he met all the requirements listed by the Professional Association of Diving Instructors, I began to teach him,” Musleh Muhammad Al-Zahrani, Sultan's instructor, was quoted by Al-Madinah Arabic newspaper as saying. “Diving lessons begin with five theoretical lectures in the classroom and students learn everything they need to know about safety and how to operate diving equipment. Next, we move to the swimming pool and students practice five diving sessions. The final step after showing their competency in the swimming pool is to graduate to open waters in the sea. Sultan successfully completed his diving training in the sea and explored the brilliant coral reef and marine life. He truly earned his scuba diving certification card,” said Al
