An ordinary security checkpoint set up behind the commercial centers overlooking Al-Tahlia Street uncovered the body of a Filipino expatriate, which was being transported in a minibus by three other Filipinos. They were on their way to dump it near the Philippines Consulate. They intended to dump the body because the deceased Filipino had no residence papers. The security men suspected the minibus and asked the driver to show them his identification papers. The driver presented his papers. However, one of the police officers noticed a man lying on one of its seats. When asked about the ‘sleeping man' the other Filipino answered saying their colleague was simply asleep. Red Crescent paramedics were called to the scene where they discovered the man was dead. The three Filipinos were arrested and Jeddah Police investigators are trying to find out if any foul play was involved. Jeddah Police Spokesman Col. Misfir Al-Je'aid said the three male expatriates accompanying the dead body were taken into custody and will be investigated. – Okaz __
