Retd Interior Ministry employees honored RIYADH — Prince Naif Bin Abdul Aziz, Second Deputy Premier and Minister of Interior, who is also Honorary President of the National Association of Retired Persons, patronized a ceremony honoring the retired employees of the Ministry of Interior here, Tuesday. Prince Naif expressed happiness over the successful surgery of King Abdullah, Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, and said that the King now enjoys good health. Prince Naif praised efforts exerted by the retirees and urged them to continue serving the homeland. He affirmed that the country is united and its constitution is the Book of Allah (the Holy Qur'an) and the Sunnah of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). “The Kingdom is a free country that has never been subjugated by any power in the world, and it has no obligations to anyone other than Almighty Allah,” Prince Naif said. Prince Naif hailed the efforts of security men of the Ministry of Interior who died as martyrs in the service of the nation and highlighted their strenuous efforts in the face of all dangers. Prince Naif underlined the security, safety, stability and progress enjoyed by the country which is “surrounded from all sides by instability and numerous problems.” He underscored the country's success in all areas of life saying: “Our economy is strong and active and the country is full of confidence.” __
