The arrival of Lebanese singer Nancy Ajram to Turkey was beyond what was expected as vast crowds of people awaited for her anxiously at the airport to welcome her. The press and Turkish fans all were overwhelmed by Nancy's arrival and had been wanting her to come and sing in Turkey for the past six years. Nancy had arrived in Turkey to hold a performance at the grand opening of the shopping center Prime Mall. Fans followed Nancy to her to the hotel she was staying at and there the singer was surprised to see a different crowed waiting wanting to take memorable pictures with her. The performance Nancy held witnessed thousands of people and she sang a collection of her most popular hits that to her surprise her Turkish fans have memorized by heart. Before the concert, Nancy held a press conference and had expressed her joy and honor at being given the opportunity to perform in Turkey. The singer also stated that she did not know she had such a vast number of fans in Turkey and promised that she will make it a point to hold concerts on a regular basis in Turkey.
